MusicaVitae is an organisation founded by a group of young, classically trained, musicians who use their talent to raise funds for charity. Under the auspices of MusicaVitae, these enthusiastic young musicians may express their talent before the public, provide entertainment and in turn raise funds for charitable organisations related to life and healthcare (vita).
Members of MusicaVitae come from several European countries and, in the past 5 years, concerts in Bristol, Oxford, Cambridge and Florence have raised funds for many different and deserving medical charities
All the administration of MusicaVitae is carried out on a voluntary basis with no paid staff. Our musicians are asked to perform for free but where possible, they receive help with expenses. The nominated charities are asked to help with the organisation, the finding of suitable venues and the promotion of the events through their publicity channels. This partnership between the charities and MusicaVitae ensures the widest awareness of both the charities and the concerts.
We are happy to be approached by charities and musicians who are keen to be involved in our future projects or to consider their proposals provided that they are in keeping with our ethos.
